Evan Garrett
I’m Evan Garrett — a former professional dancer turned wellness practitioner, and the founder of Evan Garrett Queer Wellness, established in 2024. My journey into this work began with my own diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, which reshaped the way I understood movement, healing, and what it means to care for a body in transition. That experience inspired me to create a space where wellness feels both accessible and genuinely supportive, especially for the LGBTQ+ community.
I’m a CIMSPA recognised Pilates practitioner and massage therapist, specialising in injury recovery, injury prevention, and movement that honours the realities of living in a queer body. My practice is trauma-informed, rooted in compassion, and informed by years spent navigating high-performance physical demands as a dancer.
My mission is simple: to build a wellness community in Manchester where queer people can come together, move with freedom, find relief, and look after themselves with guidance that respects both their bodies and their identities. Whether you’re managing pain, rebuilding strength, or simply seeking a space where you can breathe and belong, I’m here to support you on that journey.
